Agent37 offers cheap sandboxes for AI agents like Claude Code and Codex
AI-generated and checked against the sources listed below.
The new startup Agent37 lets users run AI agents such as Claude Code, Codex, Hermes and OpenClaw in a closed environment in the cloud. Prices start at around 4 dollars a month, but the promise of 95 percent lower costs is not documented in the sources I found.

The startup Agent37 sells a service meant to make it cheap to run AI agents around the clock. That includes Claude Code, Codex, Hermes and OpenClaw. The founder is Vishnu Krishnaprasad.
The headline of the story says you can save 95 percent. I have not been able to find documentation for that figure. I have only found that the price starts at 3.99 dollars a month (about DKK 27).
What is a sandbox?
An AI agent is a program that does not just answer questions but carries out tasks on its own: writing code, opening files, using apps and running scheduled jobs. It is therefore an advantage to give it a contained place to work.
That is called a sandbox. It is an isolated computer in the cloud where the agent can work without touching your own computer. Agent37 says it uses the gVisor technology to keep the environments separate.
What you get
Agent37 says that each agent gets its own machine that is never turned off. It remembers your files, settings and connected tools from session to session. You do not have to set up a server or Docker yourself.
The agents run with their own storage and their own web address, and billing is per minute. You can either use your own API keys or use the models that are included. The service can be connected to more than 1,000 other programs via Composio, including Gmail, WhatsApp, Slack and GitHub.
The company says data is encrypted and that prompts and files are not used to train models. According to its own information, it has SOC 2 Type I certification, which is a security approval. Type II is underway.
Who is behind it?
Agent37 was founded in 2026, is based in New York and is backed by the investment fund Y Combinator. So it is a brand-new player.
What does it mean for you?
If you are not a developer yourself, it is hardly something you will need tomorrow. But the news shows a trend: it is becoming easier and cheaper to have an AI assistant working in the background. Remember, though, that the price of the AI models themselves comes on top if you use your own key. The total bill can therefore be higher than 3.99 dollars.
