AI tools learn to act, not just talk
AI-generated and checked against the sources listed below.
This week's news shows a clear shift, with AI tools increasingly being connected directly into companies' systems and carrying out tasks themselves instead of just chatting, but several of the newest features are not yet available in Denmark.

This week's stories paint a pattern: AI is moving from being a chat box you write to, to something that works together with your other systems and makes decisions along the way on its own.
Several companies are building tools that act instead of just answering. TypeSafe has launched Jev, an AI meant to help software make quick decisions rather than write text. Anthropic has updated Claude Code so several AI agents can solve a programming task together, and the company has also merged Claude Chat and Cowork into one product, where Claude itself assesses whether a task requires a quick answer or a larger workflow.
AI is integrated into existing systems
At the same time, AI is being connected more closely to the systems companies already use. Claude has gained direct access to Salesforce data with 37 built-in sales tools, which can save salespeople a fair amount of app-hopping in their daily work. Google has updated Gemini in Workspace so it can pull data from other work tools, but the IT department should check the settings before employees use it.
There is also consumer-facing news on the way. ChatGPT is testing ads where you can continue the conversation with a company's AI agent instead of just clicking through, and the scheme has already rolled out in Denmark.
Denmark has to wait for the news
But the picture is not uniformly forward for everyone. Several of this week's stories show that the newest features often land somewhere other than Denmark. Apple's new Siri now runs on Google's Gemini models but is not yet available in the EU. Mistral has raised 3 billion euros and launched a new AI feature in the Firefox browser together with Mozilla, which is not coming to Denmark for now either. It is a recurring trait at the moment: new features typically start in the US, while Danish users have to wait.
What can you do? If you or your workplace use tools such as Salesforce or Google Workspace, it is worth keeping an eye on when the new AI integrations become available, and which data they get access to, before ramping up usage. And if you are waiting for a particular feature like the new Siri or Mistral's browser feature, it is wise to check regularly whether it has reached Denmark rather than assuming it has.
