Gemini gets 14 new app connections, mostly for the US
AI-generated and checked against the sources listed below.
Google is now connecting 14 third-party apps such as Adobe and Peloton directly to Gemini, but most only work in the US.

What's new
Google has started rolling out a new wave of "Connected Apps" to its AI chatbot Gemini. Google is bringing more of your favorite apps directly into Gemini, so you can manage projects, design creative files and plan workouts in one place instead of switching between tabs. The 14 new apps fall into three groups: for productivity, you can manage projects, organize databases and dictate notes with Airtable, Linear, monday.com, PandaDoc, Wispr AI and Zoho. For creative work, Adobe, Picsart, Squarespace and Webflow are connected, while in everyday life you can search for apartments on apartments.com, check your credit with Experian, plan workouts with Peloton and find tickets on SeatGeek.
What's clever
The idea is that you no longer need to switch between lots of browser tabs to get things done. The apps can be connected through Settings, added with an @ sign, or activated simply by asking for a supported app. In practice, this means Gemini can be used, for example, to touch up a photo in Photoshop, create a workout plan or check your credit score with Experian. The Adobe connection is one of the broadest: Adobe says its integration brings Photoshop, Lightroom, Express and Firefly into Gemini.
Cheaper or better?
This is not about new prices but about new features that come with existing free or paid Gemini access. On the other hand, there is a significant limitation on who benefits from the news. Where you live determines how many of the apps you get access to, and according to Google's own overview, ten of the new ones are marked as available only in the US. Zoho is limited to India, so only Adobe, monday.com and Wispr AI remain for the rest of the world. And even the three global exceptions have a catch: all 14 apps share another limitation, namely that they only work in English and only for users aged 18 or over. This means that ordinary Danish users can for now only use Adobe, monday.com and Wispr AI through Gemini, and only in English, while the rest are reserved for American users.
What it's good at
The update is most clearly an advantage for workplaces and power users in the US, who can now let Gemini act as a kind of shared remote control for project management (Airtable, Linear, PandaDoc), design (Adobe, Picsart, Webflow) and practical chores such as apartment hunting or buying tickets. monday.com is also the only one of the new partners that supports work and school accounts, which makes it relevant for companies using Google Workspace. Danish users, however, will have to be patient until Google expands the list of countries and languages.
