Business Wales is inviting small and medium-sized businesses to a free, 45-minute webinar on how Microsoft Copilot can eliminate repetitive tasks. It is scheduled for December 1, 2026.

Business Wales, which supports businesses in Wales, has scheduled a free online course on Microsoft Copilot. It is called "AI Lunch & Learn: Using Microsoft Copilot to Cut Repetitive Work" and will be held on Tuesday, December 1, 2026, from 12:30 to 1:15 p.m.

Copilot is Microsoft's AI assistant, which can be used in applications such as Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams. The purpose of the webinar is to show how it can take over some of the more mundane work.

Who and how

The host is Rhys Gwilym, an AI Adoption Adviser in the Business Wales AI awareness and AI adoption program. The webinar is aimed at small and medium-sized businesses in Wales: owners, founders, managers and employees.

There is room for a maximum of two participants from each company. The session is offered in both Welsh and English.

What's on the agenda

Participants will learn how to identify the repetitive tasks that AI can help with, for example customer communication, administration and information handling. The session will show how Copilot works in Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams, and which license type fits the company's Microsoft 365 subscription.

The program also covers data security, including how data stays within the company's own tenant. A tenant is the company's dedicated area within Microsoft's cloud services. Participants will also receive templates for recurring customer inquiries.

The session ends with a live Q&A and information about additional fully funded AI support through Business Wales.

About the price

According to a forum post mentioning the webinar, Copilot Business is an add-on costing about USD 21 per user per month. A promotional price of USD 18 is said to apply through December 31, 2026. According to the post, it can only be attached to certain plans such as Business Premium and Business Standard, but not Enterprise E3. This pricing and licensing information has not been confirmed by Microsoft or Business Wales.

Registration details, the platform and materials after the webinar were not confirmed, according to the forum post.
