Dataiku CEO: AI agents need to be managed, not just built
AI-generated and checked against the sources listed below.
Dataiku CEO Florian Douetteau points out that AI models are becoming cheaper and more alike, so what will matter is how companies manage and maintain their AI agents, not how many they have.

Dataiku co-founder and CEO Florian Douetteau has spoken with The Deep View about what it takes for AI agents to go from slick demos to something that actually holds up in daily use and delivers measurable results.
His point: the AI models themselves are quickly becoming a commodity. Most companies will therefore buy about 90% of their AI agents and only build the last 10% themselves, the ones that make the difference in the market.
That creates a new discipline, which Douetteau calls 'agent management': keeping track of, maintaining and trusting the AI agents you put into operation.
He also points to a dilemma many leaders know: move too slowly and you lose ground to competitors with lower costs. Move too fast without proper control and you risk bigger failures in your AI systems, with real consequences.
For companies, it is less about chasing the newest model and more about building solid frameworks around the AI agents you already use. That is where the real difference lies going forward.
There is nothing urgent to act on here and now, but it is worth starting to think about who actually 'owns' and keeps an eye on your AI agents if you run several of them in production.
